A tradition

Massimo en 1969

« In 1969, I decided to open my own restaurant, I wanted it to be a simple place where people could meet in a warm, convivial atmosphere, just like in my native Sicily. I would offer traditional and generous Italian food to a faithful clientèle.

I named the restaurant after my father, Massimo, who’s a real-life character from a novel!

Almost thirty years later, in 1995, I handed over to my two elder sons, whose passion has further developed the business. Massimo, the eldest, works in the kitchen where he is constantly on the lookout for new flavours and new creative ways of combining the best seasonal ingredients, with artistry and technical excellence, while continuing to cook the great dishes of classic Italian regional cuisine. As for Paolo, his aim is to introduce you to the best Italian wines.

My two sons invite you all to come and discover new flavours and aromas, daring textures and colours, unusually bold combinations which nevertheless work well. The contents of your plate and your glass will combine to produce a veritable feast for your senses... »
